Why were Wood Look Windows ever invented?

“IT WAS VERY HOT IN THE SUMMER AND VERY COLD IN THE WINTER BECAUSE OF THE SINGLE PANE WINDOWS WHICH WERE NOT ENERGY EFFICIENT. IN ADDITION, THE WOOD STARTED TO ROT AND DETERIORATE IN VARIOUS PARTS OF OUR HOME.”

What They Needed

This is a perfect example why liquid wood was invented. The homeowners had nine wood single pane French doors and almost 30 single pane wood windows which were making the home very uncomfortable. It was very hot in the summer and very cold in the winter because of the single pane windows which were not energy efficient. In addition, the wood started to rot and deteriorate in various parts of their home. Because of the size of the project, the homeowners decided to do it in multiple phases. What Happened Phase 1 was to replace the most important 15 windows in the house, such as bedrooms, atrium and kitchen. The challenge for California Deluxe Windows was to match exactly the existing look and texture of the windows and doors that are not being replaced in phase 1. California Deluxe Windows took an additional step to create the proper color and texture combination by including interior and exterior trims and sills to the satisfaction of the homeowners. Upon our post installation inspection, it looks like we accomplished our goals. It looks beautiful, it matches all the other windows and doors in his home, and the owner already notices a huge difference in his home’s energy efficiency and comfort.
